The national Eye Center was established as a national Hospital
by decree Mo. 52, 1979. The hospital was commissioned for
Clinical service in December 1992 and has been increasingly
operational since then.

hard to achieve Eye Health for the nation and the world.
Our Mission is "to reduce blindness in Nigeria through
provision of qualitative, comprehensive and cost-effective
